Flushing of the Water Mains

This flushing program is standard maintenance for water departments (typically conducted annually), to maintain high quality water throughout the system. Flushing will take place between 6am and 4pm on weekdays starting January 7th.
This flushing program is a standard maintenance operation for water departments (typically conducted annually). A filtration and pump system will be utilized to minimize the water sent to the drainage system during the maintenance.
Flushing the mains may cause some slight but temporary reduction in water pressure and possible water discoloration. However, your water remains safe for drinking. If you observe sediment or coloration in water, continue to run the water until it is again clear.
